Thanks to the generosity of its owners and the occasion of the exhibition of works by artist Pierre Gonnord you can access the beautiful Renaissance courtyard of the Palacio de Ovando or House of Ovando, one of the best preserved palaces Cáceres.

Pierre Gonnord (Cholet, France 1963), began his personal project about the human face in the late 90s, built over the years a body of identifiable portraits. Gonnord Pierre (France 1963), lives and works in Madrid since 1988 Your own project has become a lifestyle, traveling the back roads in search of characters belonging to social groups with strong cultural identity. As a guest artist at FOROSUR 2014, presents a solo exhibition in the historic Palacio de Ovando: GAIA, which shows the latest work in the Portuguese Alentejo and Extremadura. A tribute to people living with animals, living and working in nature. Twenty large format photographs, which can see the latest Gonnord work and commitment to the land.
