MICAIAH CARTER is the next generation of young photographers. He works to reverse negative stereotypes about people of color and elevate distinct symbols of black culture into triumphant and elegant narratives. Just months after graduating from Parsons School of Design, Carter’s work was shown at the Brooklyn Museum as part of the exhibition "Black History, Black Future," a collaboration with Adidas. Carter has in three short years photographed numerous influential artists like painter, Kehinde Wiley, film maker, Spike Lee and actress, Taraji P. Henson.
